Chip Hale
Walter William "Chip" Hale (born December 2, 1964) is an American former Major League Baseball second baseman and third baseman and current manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks. He played college baseball at the University of Arizona. ==Playing career== Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round of the 1987 MLB amateur draft, Hale made his Major League Baseball debut with the Twins on August 27, 1989, and appeared in his final game October 2, 1997.
